The Dream of China
Route: Beijing / Xian / Shanghai / Suzhou-8nights /9days
Day 1.
ARRIVAL IN BEIJING
On the arrival at Beijing international airport, you will be transferred
to hotel. A welcome dinner awaits you after you refresh up.
Day 2. BEIJING
You will start exploring the imperial wonders of this majestic
city with visit to the awesome Tian-an-men Square, the largest
public square,Nearby is the golden-roofed Forbidden City, a huge
compound of palaces, pavilions and courtyards, where the emperors
of Ming and Qing dynasties lived. Afternoon visit of the beautiful
imperial Summer Palace, where the longest corridor of the whole
world and the Marble boat are situated along Kunming Lake. Tonight
we will enjoy the famous Peking Duck Banquet. (B/L/D)
Day 3. BEIJING
Today we tour the Landmark of China-The Great Wall. Built to thwart
the barbarian invasions two thousand years ago, the Great Wall
stretches over 3,000 miles, and is the only man-made structure
visible from the
Moon. En route back to Beijing, visit the Ming Tombs ,burial sites
for 13 of the 16 Ming Dynasty emperors. The underground palace
houses the lavish wealth of the emperors. Tonight you will see
the Chinese acrobatic show after dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 4 BEIJING / XIAN
Morning visit to the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of 15th-century
architecture. You will take afternoon flight to Xian, the ancient
capital for 11 Chinese dynasties and the hub of Silkroad trade
during the Marco Polo Expedition. Tonight you will be feasted
with Imperial Dumpling Banquet and entertained by a dazzling Tang
Dynasty culture performance of music and dance. (B/L/D)
Day 5 XIAN
Today's highlight is the tour of underground mausoleum of the
Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi (259-210 BC), where thousands of life-size
terra-cotta warriors along with their horses, chariots and weapons,
have been guarding the emperor's burial site for over 2,000 years.
Continue with a visit to Wild Goose Pagoda, a seven-story structure
that offers a spectacular view of the ancient walled city. (B/L/D)
Day 6. XIAN / SHANGHAI
You will take the morning flight to Shanghai, China's third largest
city and the so-called "Paris of the East". You will
tour the Temple of the Jade Buddha and the children palace. (B/L/D)
Day 7 SHANGHAI
Full day tour to the Shanghai Museum and the Bund, famous river
promenade, the tranquil Yu Garden.(B/L/D)
Day 8 SHANGHAI /
SUZHOU / SHANGHAI
Full day excursion to Suzhou, the Garden city and the so-called
"Earthly Paradise. You will visit two beautiful gardens,
which are masterpieces of the Chinese gardening architecture.
And back to Shanghai in the evening. (B/L/D)
Day 9 Today you will
end the spectacular journey to the Orient and fly
home.(B)

China

Day 1.

Today you will fly to picturesque Guilin, often said to be the
most beautiful city in China and known for its serene limestone
hills and unique landscape. Upon arrival take a tour to Reed Flute
Cave to see some very unusual stalactite and stalagmite formations.

Day 7. GUILIN
Today enjoy a scenic cruise down the meandering Li River. The
backdrop of jagged mountain, green plains, bamboo rafts and grazing
buffalo constitute a serene vista, which is the source of inspiration
for countless Chinese writer and artist. (B/L/D)
Day 8. GUILIN / SHANGHAI
You will take morning light to Shanghai, China's largest city
and the so-called "Paris in the East". In the afternoon,
you will visit the children's palace and the Temple of the Jade
Buddha. (B/L/D)
Day 9. SHANGHAI
You will tour the Bund, famous riverfront promenade, the tranquil
Yu Garden, and the Shanghai Museum, the finest museum in China.
In the evening, you will enjoy the Chinese Acrobatic show after
the dinner.
Day 10. SHANGHAI
/ XITANG / SHANGHAI
Today you will have an excursion to Xitang, an ancient town characterized
by its numerous rivers, bridges and lanes in southern China, which
was shaped during the perod of 770BC to 476BC and developed into
a small town by Ming Dynasty. There are nine rivers crossing the
town and dividing the town into eight sections of land connected
by bridges. Most of the houses along the rivers are constructions
of Ming and Qing Dynasties
Day 11. Today you
will end our spectacular journey to the Orient and fly home.

XIAN / CHONGQING
You will fly to Chongqing. On the arrival at Chongqing, you will
be
Showed the panda in the zoo. After dinner, you will pre-board
on the cruiser. Overnight on the cruiser.(B/L/D.)
Day
7. YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE
The luxury Yangtze River Cruise starts after the breakfast. You
will
receive the detailed cruise information prepared by the cruiser
every day. The Yangtze River is the third longest river in the
world. The Three Gorges, starting at Baidicheng and ending at
Yichang of Hubei Province, extends 118 km. At the moment, the
biggest hydroelectric project is under construction. The Qutang
Gorge, known for its magnificence, is only 8 km long. Scenic spots
such as Kuimen Gate, Mengliang staircase. Wu Gorge, 44 km long,
is famous for its deep valley and quiet beauty. Among the Twelve
Peaks, the Goddess Peak is the most beautiful one. Xiling Gorge,
extending 66 km in length and full of turbulants and whirpools,
is one of the dangerous shoals. It consists of the Gorge of the
Military Book and sword, the Gorge of the Ox's Liver and horse's
Lung. Kongling shoal and the Shadow Play Gorge. The area of the
gorges was also the cradle of culture of the ancient Chu State.
A host of great historic poets, such as Li Bai, Du Pu, and the
others, greatly admired the beautiful and charming landscape and
wrote down quite a number of emotional poems. The gorges themselves
are a long poem, a mysterious natural gallery. The picturesque
scenery along the river, which never fail to appeal to the people,
will surely make you admire the mysterious creative power of nature.(B/L/D)
Day
8. OFF-SHORE EXCURSION TO FENGDU-GHOST CITY
After breakfast, you will have an off-shore excursion to Fengdu.According
to legends, Fengdu is the hell. That is why Chinese people called
it "ghost city". If you don't want to climb up the hill
through the statues of ghosts, you can pay a little money to the
top of the hill by cable-car. When the dam of the hydroelectric
project iscompleted, half of the city will be sank.(B/L/D)
Day 9.
Off-SHORE EXCURSION TO THE SMALL GORGES
Day 10.
DISEMBARK THE CRUISER AND DRIVE TO WUHAN
After breakfast, you will disembark the cruiser in Yichang and
have a tour to the Dam project of the Yangtze River hydroelectric
project. Then you will go to Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei
Province. If time allowed,
you would have a shot stop for sightseeing in Jinzhou, one of
the famous ancient towns since Han Dynasty ( 207BC to 220AD).

WUHAN / SHANGHAI BY AIR

Full day tour to the Shanghai Museum and the Bund, the tranquil
